Five years ago a small, loud, wonderful person arrived in Lusaka and the house has not been quiet since. Bring your little ones, your sunhats and your appetite for cake — the garden at Twin Palm Road is ours for an afternoon.

A few notes
On little guests
Grown-ups are warmly invited to stay for the afternoon; there will be tea on the veranda and shade for prams.
On gifts
Twaambo is filling a bookshelf. A storybook, new or well-loved, would be treasured more than anything with batteries.
Should it rain
The party moves under the veranda and nothing else changes — it is the end of the rains, so bring a light jacket for the little ones.
Getting there
From Leopards Hill Road turn onto Twin Palm; we are the fourth gate on the left, marked with balloons.
