The Announcement
Ba Chansa Mwewa rested on Wednesday the nineteenth of August, at home in Samfya, in the eighty-fifth year of his life.
He taught mathematics at Samfya Boys for twenty-eight years and never once raised his voice to do it. The family invites you to come and give thanks — to sing, to eat, and to tell him back to us.

A Few Notes
On flowers
Wreaths may be left at the cathedral door. In their place the family would rather you gave to the school fund below.
On tributes
Three minutes each, so that Samfya, the church and the grandchildren all get their turn. Send word to Kunda if you wish to speak.
On the road
Two buses run from the cathedral to Samfya and back to Mansa by nightfall. Ask for a seat when you reply.

He paid the fees of thirty-one boys who were not his. The fund carries that on.
